| Summary: | This final project will analyzes the airspace capacity of Soekarno Hatta Airport and also tu understands the management of air traffic flow in Soekarno Hatta Airport. Air Traffic Flow Management or used to called ATFM is a regulation of air traffic in order to avoid exceeding airport or flight sector capacity in handling traffic, and to ensure that available capacity is used efficiently. The aim of ATFM is to enhance the capacity of the airspace while satisfying Air Traffic Control constraints and airline request to optimize their operating costs. The calculation of airspace capcity will be done with two different methods, first the approach method for runway capacity, then the calculation of terminal airspace capacity developed by Janic. Besides,the exertion will be done in increasing the ultimate capacity from the airport. The result of this researh is the amount of airspace capacity in Soekarno Hatta Airport using two different methods. This research also shows the amount of ultimate capacity of airspace in Indonesia after the effort of increasing the capacity of the airport. |
