In this study, the authors wanted to design a pack carburizing furnace that can be used in the household kitchen so everyone can make pack carburization. This furnace is designed in a simple and uses inexpensive materials and easy to obtain. The furnace is designed to use LPG fuel. Furnaces are expected to achieve and stable at temperatures above 850 oC. After performing the design, these furnace can be made. Later, tests conducted on the furnace to determine the characteristics of the resulting temperature. Tests carried out using two types of stoves.
