For this kind of bridge, the cables are designed to hold the floor vertically and torsion caused by eccentric load or load caused by wind, to be further channelled through floor that continues to the the girder and finally to the pylon. Overall, the the girder behaviour can be analysed easily when the operating factor variation is observed separatedly. The analysis of Cable-Stayed bridge with variation of the pylon height consists of static and dynamic analysis. In this thesis, dynamic analysis is conducted by giving dynamic load an earthquake load given to the Cable-Stayed bridge structure. The dynamic analysis is the phase of computation after static analysis indicates a satisfying result in which at the static analysis the optimum height of pylon will be attained. The dynamic analysis is limited only to the nature of structure, especially in displacement matter. The method used is time history analysis in which the acceleration used is el-centro acceleration that has been revised in accordance with Sukabumi area earthquake. The dynamic analysis is needed as a verification, when the performance of the structure is not wholly represented by static and semi dynamic computation analysis. When dynamic analysis shows a much smaller result from the static analysis, seismic plan is usually based on the static analysis. Dynamic analysis is carried out to find out the structure behaviour, especially the level of comfort as a whole after elements of static analysis are applied to comply with the strength demanded. text
