For the assessment of economic feasibility, a cash flow projection is made, and economic parameters such as IRR, PBP, NPV, Toll Fee are calculated. An analysis regarding the impacts of the possibility of production forecast discrepancy toward economic factors is further conducted. Based on the technical analysis conducted in this research, there are three route alternatives for the transportation of oil from Tempino to Ramba. There are further subalternatives using 6” and 8” diameter pipes. Considering the economic parameters of those alternatives, Route 1 using 8” NPS ranks highest in terms of economic performance. The pipeline would have a higher toll fee (by 1.69) than the forecasted condition, when the production capacity is lower (0.57) than expected. Further studies regarding risks and social aspects are recommended for a better decision in selecting the pipeline routes. text
