Nowday, there are many shallow geothermal source utilization have been developed as non electrical heat source, such as heating system for houses and offices. One of these technologies is Downhole Heat Exchanger (DHE). In general, DHE consist of U shaped pipe planted vertically inside the soil surrounded by geothermal heat source with middle temperature range (60o-200o C). Inside the pipe, water will be injected and circulated while it exchanging heat with geothermal substance surrounding the pipe. In this Final Project, a numerical model had been developed and various simulations had been done to determine optimum temperature output base on physical parameters that influence the DHE system. <br /> text
