One of these technologies is Downhole Heat Exchanger (DHE). In general, DHE consist of U shaped pipe planted vertically inside the soil surrounded by geothermal heat source with middle temperature range (60o-200o C). Inside the pipe, water will be injected and circulated while it exchanging heat with geothermal substance surrounding the pipe. In this Final Project, a numerical model had been developed and various simulations had been done to determine optimum temperature output base on physical parameters that influence the DHE system. <br /> text |
