Gita Persada was under Yayasan Sahabat Alam (YSA) management. Founded since 1999 by initiation of Dr. Herawati Soekardi on habitat engineering. Gita Persada was located in desa Tanjung Manis, Gunung Betung, Lampung with 4,8 ha. The areal was borrowed from Dinas Kehutanan Provinsi Lampung and personal belongings. Gita Persada had been used for education causes, especially for student from kindergaden to university. Low of number visitors and lack of fund for operational and development were the indicator of management weakness. Strategic problem that occurred were the urgency of grand strategy formulation <br /> <br /> <br /> for future's development. Analysis of external and internal factor were required in order for knowing Gita <br /> <br /> <br /> Persada's strategic factors. Those factors were tabulated in TOWS matrix and concluding 13 strategies. After deciding the objective of the strategies, strategy maps were made to draw the strategy for showing the connection and relation among strategies. Strategic initiatives were made to achieve Gita Persada's goal. <br /> <br /> <br /> Those strategies were segmented in four stages: avoiding threats, dealing with threats, using strengths, and building future strengths. Avoiding threats by using partner's strengths. Dealing with threats by using Gita Persada's strength. By using strengths gave stronger strategic positions among others. Building future's strengths were purposed for Gita Persada to change their weakness became strengths. Gita Persada should bring readiness through the organization for doing those strategies. Organization readiness was needed for gaining employees' loyalty. Awareness and acknowledgement of employees about vision and mission of Gita Persada were giving consequences to employees' performance. In advance, it would bring loyalty through the employees. Employees' readiness related to enhance <br /> <br /> <br /> competencies in environment conservation and delivering services in order to satisfy the client. Building client relationship for supporting growth of visit through informative communication that delivered by promotion channel of Gita Persada. In the future, Gita Persada would ready to open international market that was supported by enhancement of competencies. <br /> text
