Summary: | Chronic Myelogenous Leukemia (CML) is a type of leukemia which attack the white blood cell. This disease is identified from a newly forming abnormal cell with disordered chromosome structure caused by a mutation. The CML cell grows and develops rapidly causing the instability of the blood cell system in a human body, furthermore it could cause death. The mortality rate of the CML sufferer is quite high today. In Indonesia, lots of the CML sufferer has been detected. Thus, the topic of CML is imperative to be discussed. <br />

In this final project, we studied and analyzed the development of normal blood cell population model with no disease. Moreover, we analyzed some of the development of normal blood cell population models with the leukemia. The interaction and the development of the normal with blood cell and the abnormal CML cell were analyzed analytically as well as numerically. Some plots of the white blood cell development and several analysis of the stability criteria were explained in this project. |
