respectively, are combust to unharmed gas and throw away to the atmosphere. The combustion of waste gas must be done in specific operating operation with certain ratio of fuel and air to produce complete combustion. Process dynamics of waste gas combustion will simulate on Distibuted Control System (DCS) CS3000 Yokogawa Indonesia. This final project objective is to make control system design and simulation combustion process dynamics on DCS therefore system can regulate fuel and air in exact ratio with determined kriteriar that cause complete combustion. There are three strategy will be use, feedback, ratio control and cascade
system. Tuning method which used on primary and secondary controller are trial-error and Ziegler-Nichols method. Product simulation shows that control system design
succeessfully to maintain operating temperature. Control system design also able to avoid high overshoot on fuel-air plant. |
