stack that needs lot of time and human resources to take those goods and stack it again. Another issue is warehouse capacity of 200 ton tea no longer adequate for company because continuous increases of consumer demand. <br />

Analysis of 6 logistical management activity conclude material handling and warehousing activity needs process improvemen to be more efficient, while 4 other activity already done well and efficiently. Material handling activity using block stacking method that stack all goods in empty warehouse site with certain heigh, and one stack containt different kinds of goods. This situation cause difficulties in goods inspections, look for, count and makes time to find and stack again become long. Needs for increase warehouse storage capacity is important to keep the pace with the increase of costumer demand. The first problem is material stacked without arreged and without sistematic ways. There are 4 problem alternative soulution,using old ways (block stacking), single-deep pallet rack, drivethru rack, and pallet flow rack method. Conclution found using analitic hierarcial process is using single-deep pallet rack methods that give the highest value in the amount of 0,384. The second problem is increase warehouse storage capacity. There are 2 problem alternative solutions wheather rent or buy the new warehouse. Conclution found using analitic hierarcial process is buy new warehouse that gives the highest value in the amount of 0,56. Implementation of the new material stacking method need 6 month from start, make metal rack, supplier selection, until test and full implementations. This plan better implemented in the new warehouse because more ease to set the metal rack and material storage. Difficulties <br />

implementation in the old warehouse is already full with goods, so company needs to temporary storage palce dan the production activity are stopped for a while. Buy new warehouse can increase storage capacity become 300 tons of tea. New warehouse implementations needs 9 weeks and <br />

aproximately adequate for 10 until 20 years. |
