There are several protocols that can be used in a video conference such as SIP that developed by the IETF, H.323 developed by ITU-T and IAX2 by the Asterisk manufacturer. <br /> <br /> <br /> In this final project implementation used IETF standard caused this standard can be developed in NGN which all of telecommunication network were integrated with SIP protocol. Implementation of video conferencing was done using SIP and interconnection to IAX protocol on Asterisk PBX server. <br /> <br /> <br /> Based on test data analysis, quality-based video conferencing, SIP and IAX2 good enough. It can be seen from the value of delay that occurs still in the category that allowed for video conference, due to the resulting delay is below 150 ms (ITU-T Rec.G114), packet loss is still very small (<1%) and small jitter (<30 ms), thus good video conference using SIP protocol can be implemented. text |
