Summary:Pore size distribution of rock can be obtained using image processing technique. Image used for calculation is a binary image (black-white image) where pore is represented by white color or 1, and matrix is indicated by black color or 0. Porosity and number of pores in the rocks area were used to estimate permeability. Average hydraulic radius was estimated by pore size distribution. Loose sands and fractal model image were investigated in this study. Permeability with similar porosity for both images gives different result. <br />
