Summary: | When reformation in all sectors and the fall of the new rezime were proclaimed, the situation in our country was uncertain, while bad influence was especially felt on our economic field. Immanuel Hospital, built in 1910, experienced various obstacles which has developed up to the present situation. This hospital is very special, i.e. it has special social mission with 60 % of third class beds besides its function as educational laboratory for the students of Medical School of Maranatha University. This also makes the hospital differ from the other private hospitals in Bandung. Since it obtained foreign aids, the hospital has been autonomy on funds. To anticipate its future it is felt necessary to formulate business of non medical assistance outside the core business of Immanuel Hospital. This business is a kind of supporting business, functioning as the conscription of funds to subsidize the core business whose managements has never been intensified. As far as cross subsidy is not only realized over the core business service but also the cross sectors through supporting business in the area of non medical service developed. |
