Summary: | Angklung diatonic tone scale is traditional musical instrument of Indonesia that have same frequency with internasional standard frequency, such as the frequency of piano. To find the value of frequency at angklung which is commonly made of black bamboo, used an ilustration of a whole tube is placed in such a way that both ends of the tube is free-free an then the tube is struck. Blow on that tube will produce a certain frequency value. it has a general formula which is influenced by physical properties such as porosity and material mass density, in addition to the mechanical material properties such as Young’s modulus, and also geometrical material. Angklung tube geometric consists of inner and outer diameter, a length of angklung tube, and a length of resonance tube. it will affect to moment of inertia that possesed by angklung tube. By using an exist general formula, finally obtained a angklung tube constant in order to produce a frequency corresponding to the frequency standard. |
