Current development is consist of using airship for indoor advertising media. The form of this airship has to be attractive. Airship mimicry fish form and locomotion might be one of the alternatives. Airship is designed to resemble fish, capable of controlling speed and turning maneuver. To provide this characteristic, elastic servo was chosen as actuator. Servo received command from semiautomatic control system, which is a combination of radio control (RC) and microcontroller. Semi automated process control has three stages, reading RC signal, processing signal, and generate control command. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> Work in Final Project includes the initial design of fish like airship, fish tail motion mechanism production, and testing. Two types of fin were ested, rigid fin and elastic fin. From test, relationship between fin stiffness, frequency, and flapping angle with respect to thrust produced were obtained. From thrust testing it is concluded that vehicle designed is able to move forward with a speed of less than 1 m/s. text
