Summary: | In this thesis project, the geometry of homogeneous and isotropic universe, which can

be represented in Robertson-Walker metric, is discussed. This metric is applied to

solve Einstein’s field equation, and the solution is called as Friedmann equation. In

the Friedmann equation, there are three main parameters. First, scale factor of the

universe R(t), which describes the expantion rate of our universe. Second, curvature

index k, which describes the geometry of our universe. Third, cosmological constant
Λ which is a correction of Einstein field equation. Finally, we discuss possible

universe model appeared in the model. |
