The results show that peak base rock acceleration (PBA) in Jakarta obtained in this study is larger than that given in the Indonesian Seismic Code SNI 03-1726-2002. SYNTH software was used to develop synthetic ground motion by using deaggregation from previous study. <br /> <br /> Soil-structure interaction analysis to predict the dynamic lateral earth pressure acting on a basement wall was conducted by the help of a 2-dimension computer program FLUSH, which was developed in frequency domain. Analysis was conducted base on variation in input motion, basement depth, base rock depth and upper structure height. The results show that the dynamic lateral earth pressure distribution had a maximum value at the top of basement and tend to decrease to the bottom. text
