Summary:Tsunami Drill is important part of Indonesia Tsunami Early Warning System (Ina-TEWS) implementation, which is initiated by the central government since 2005. Tsunami Drill Program was aimed to stimulate community participation in achieving preparedness toward earthquake and tsunami disaster. Currently, there is no evaluative assessment on Tsunami Drill implementation. An assessment to evaluate the program is important as a tool for lesson learned and improvement of the program in the future. This research is an initiative to conduct evaluative assessment toward Tsunami Drill and the implementation of Tsunami Drill Program in Bali 2006 is used as a case study. <br /> <br /> <br /> The method used in this research is the qualitative approach to collect data and analysis. Interview and direct observation are conducted during Bali Tsunami Drill implementation in 2006. Questionnaire dissemination was also conducted to obtain data related to results of program. Outcome mapping concept is used as a guidance to evaluate tsunami drill program implementation, based on data obtained through qualitative approach. <br /> <br /> <br /> The result of this study shows that the implementation of Tsunami Evacuation Drill in Bali 2006 contributied to the increase in community preparedness efforts toward earthquake and tsunami disaster. Specifically, the contributions in are the form of new knowledge and skills, disseminated to local community. Local community and local government level of participation was quite high in the program implementation. Eventhough the Tsunami Evacuation Drill in Bali 2006 could facilitate the networking and partnership between local community and government, but there is a question about continuity of partnership. Other than, the achieved indicators the tsunami drill program gave little attention to important role of local wisdom, especially those that related to local knowledge and community attitude toward natural phenomena. <br />
