Summary: | Eco-innovation is defined as the implementation of new or significantly better product (goods and services), process, marketing method, organizational method in business practices, working organization, or external relationships that gives positive impacts for the environment, regardless that these impacts are initially intended or not.. This thesis intends to bring out the typology, kinds of impacts and the success story of eco-innovation in Indonesia through the case-studies of 3 eco-innovative business organizations. The study uses structuration theory and practice approach to see how the agency of actor interacts with the structures that enables the success of eco-innovation process. The empirical data were acquired through depth interview method with the respondents using <br />

semi-structured questions. The study shows that eco-innovations are driven by various kinds of non-regulatory motivations such intrinsic motivation and economical motivation those translated into intentionality and the rationalization of actions which continuously <br />
