Investment casting process requires positive pattern which is made of wax material. This pattern, called wax pattern, is produced by injection process which requires a metal mold. The mold cavity is manufactured by three axis numerical controlled milling machine. <br />

This final project focuses on the manufacturing of the wax mold cavity by the assistance of CAD/CAM system. The author used Delcam PowerMill and Delcam PowerShape software, thus created NC program as the output of this project. Operation of the NC machine is not discussed here.
