The machinery is very important in converting the fluid energy. Compressor is one of the fluid machinery that often to be used in industrial company. Compressors play a big role in producing a pressurized gas that will be used to generate energy. In this occasion, the authors want to try to design compressor radial impellers with capacity 1200 cfm and the compression ratio 12. <br /> <br /> <br /> In this case, the authors will refer to a book "Axial und <br /> <br /> <br /> Radialkompressoren" by Bruno Eckert-Erwin Schnell. The process design calculation starts from the initial air condition until the dimensions design of the radial compressor. To a better understanding of the compressor dimensions, I also attach pictures of the technical drawing from compressor designing process. <br /> <br /> <br /> The results of this design, it needs 4 stage of radial compressor for fulfilling the specified criteria that required with outside diameter ranges from 210 mm to 181 mm. While the inner diameter of each level vary from 92 mm. <br /> <br /> <br /> Average eficiency that achieved by this design is 0,745. text
