Description
Summary:Rocks fractured on reservoir can flow the fluid. By modeling, the complex fractures can be made into a simple. In rocks fractured 2D, fluid can be analyzed in single fractures using a series model, a parallel model or a combination of both of them. By knowing some parameters like the aperture of fractures, the length of fractures, the differential pressure between the inlet and the outlet of the flow, the velocity of fluid flow when it enter the fractures can be calculated. After getting the velocity, fluid flow model on the rock fractures can be determined by using software, CFD (Computational Fluids Dynamics) FLUENT 6.3.26. For not interruption situations, the flow pattern is laminar. But, unfortunately, fractures are not always without interference. Pressure from the top of fractures make the wall of fractures moving in a certain speed which can cause fluid flow become irregular. Occasionally, the pattern of fluid flow can be turbulence due to the interference.
