This research analyzes the policy of social responsibility of PT. Freeport Indonesia in fulfilling the rights of economic, social and culture also ownership of land inheritance to the local community in their operation areas. <br /> <br /> <br /> Conflicts that are appeared mostly caused by the unharmonious relation between PT. Freeport Indonesia and the local community which also caused by two conflict of interests. The local community as the owner of the inheritance land combine with PT. Freeport Indonesia who runs the business in the area who have an economic goals. This research is emphasized in holding the principals and theories that says the community is the stakeholder of the company which is then becoming <br /> <br /> <br /> the integral part of the company whose existence must be participated in deciding a policy which have significant impact to the company. <br /> <br /> <br /> In order to create the role and the responsibility of the company in fulfilling human rights, the implementation of performance standard IFC is an instrument which can be considered as the ground rules of what kind of rights that should be fulfilled inside the community, collectively.
