One of the alternative fuel used is bioethanol which derived from <br /> <br /> <br /> vegetable oils. Bioethanol derived from renewable natural resources, such as sugarcane juice, corn, sugarcane, cassava, potato, wheat, etc., so that the amount of <br /> <br /> <br /> bioethanol supply will be unlimited. However, the use of Bioethanol fuel must be tested first. Especially on <br /> <br /> <br /> emissions and performance (power, torque, and fuel consumption) produced. Testing is done using a type of motor gasoline carburetor and injection (EFI) is considered to represent the actual conditions in Indonesia. Emissions resulting from the tests showed a decrease amount in emissions of CO for 2% - 26% and CO2 1% - 3%, but showed an increase in HC and NOx. Use a mixture of gasoline and bioethanol likewise reduce fuel consumption levels for 3% - <br /> <br /> <br /> 6% .And provide improvements in peformance test (carburetor type). Overall, the use of a mixture of 10% ethanol to give the best effect in this test. text
