Summary: | The setting applied for expected accuracy level in machine tools production also involves accuracy measurement process. Even it requires reworks of accuracy measurement and dimension improvement in iteration manners, so as a whole NC machine tools production takes much time and skill. A graded research on accuracy measurement of NC machine tools has been conducted which results in an integrated measurement system based on laser interferometers. The system is integrated developed using PC Computer to measure accuracy and diagnose condition of NC machine tools integrated and automatically. The study is intended as contribution in accuracy measurement system development of NC machine tools and in intensive application in the LCHQMC machine. The LCHQ-MC is short for Low Cost High Quality - - Machining Center, an NC machine of machining center type, produced through cooperation between industry, university and research institution. In addition to identify accuracy of the LCHC-MC machine, it is expected that the feedback data can be collected in order to increase performance of integrated measurement system software based on laser interferometers and that the influence of measurement its self on accuracy of positioning, as well as compensation application to increase accuracy of NC machine tools. |
