Summary: | The development of a maintenance program using RCM method can be supported by software to fasten the process. RCM software are widely available on the market such as RCM ++, RCM Turbo, RCM Professional 3.0, but the software are still desktop based. On this basis the research attempt to develop a web-based RCM software. A Web-based RCM has advantages as compared to the desktop based, i.e. it can be accessed any time and any place using internet connection, it can be run with any operating system (windows, linux, mac), and it does not need a high specifications computer to access, except the server application itself. The approach of the research begins with transforming the RCM process into a programming flowchart, continued by a selection of the programming language, and test the software. The software is able to carry out the following processes: to create a hierarchical system, to conduct failure mode and effect analysis (FMEA), reliability analysis of parts, and to select maintaining tasks. User friendly tests are conducted to the software in order to evaluate the easiness of its application. The programming language used in software development is the PHP language <br />
