Summary: | This final project contains of a method (step integration method) to calculate takeoff field length of Boeing 737-400 based on simple theoretical equations. The results of this method are compared with the operation manual of Boeing 737-400. Inputs of flight condition such as runway altitude, flap position, wind speed and runway slope are also evaluated to see wether the method in calculating takeoff field length can give closer results to the operation manual. Then, conclusion is taken from analysis and calculation in this final project that step integration method can be refered as a method to analyse takeoff field length of other type of airplane. |
