Production management is one of the several factors of production. Good management (planning, coordinating, controlling and evaluating) will help to increase manager and operator’s work to produce good product in quality, cheap price and on time. PT. XYZ is one of offset company which is managing its production factor including its management. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> This research is founded of company’s idea to make good production plan especially to solve the difficulties to make schedule and information system of production which will be used to support the system of making decisions. Besides that, the company has not been able to fill <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> the orders by maximizing production capacities. The target of production will be reached with good management, production schedule, information system and production capacity. At least the company will increase its productivity. The purpose of this research is to make the plan of production management with distributed production system for printing, covering, and finishing and it is purpose to do a case study in one of the processes. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> In this research, the writer does several steps of introduction study and literature, collecting data in company and plan of production management in printing, covering and finishing. In this case, done several organizations like the combining of the flow process type, tools data, production schedule and the calculation of raw materials and support materials need. The management used glass wall management that will be applied to its work station. This research produced data of several types of flow process combining with the give of code process, tools and part. These, will be used to support this research further like the making of information system by using software. Besides that, produced the complete of work station like standard operating procedure (SOP), machine checklist, machine downtime log, quality control process table and production control board. This research also produced the basic calculation formula for cycle time every process and the basic calculation formula for raw <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> materials and support materials usage. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> This research done also a case study of the prodution management for the types of thread sewing book by using D-14, one of types of flow process which includes the management of flow process types, the calculation of raw materials usage, the schedule making of production and machine. The controling of work station is done to the one of work station, MA 1001.
