The availability of lands which has been continually decreasing followed by the increase of human population has stimulates the growth of property sector. The availability of housing ownership and apartment ownership financing has also stimulates customer’s demand with its competitive rate of 9.75% per year. Nowadays, the needs of property have been changing as investment opportunity. This opportunity is marketed in forms of houses, apartments, lands, etc. Apartment is an emerging housing form which accommodates the limited space of land which usually situated in a strategic location. As a practical residency form that suited its users who has high-mobility, Apartment has been a perfect choice for Jakarta’s people. These days, the apartment trend has started to reach Bandung. As a city that is famous for its shopping places and also one of the student’s destination city to study, Bandung is a very potential city for property sector. PT X, as one of new property company, willing to design its business model for investment product in the form of apartments that can be use or rent as a condotel. The objective of this business model design is to answer the needs of every stakeholder involved, including the apartment’s users and investors. For that matter this research will use the preferences of consumers. This research uses questionnaire method to gather the data of consumer’s preference. The conclusion of this research is a business model design suggestion which describe the business model revenues and costs that occur as the consequence of PT X’s business model. Finally, this research is a theoretical study which may be implemented however the implementation of the suggestions will be fully decided by PT X. text |
