Description
Summary:The tabulation of well data for the the interpretation purposes of well data from the curve study of well log in determining the elements of sequence stratigraphy such as sequence boundary, flooding surface, transgressive surface, maximum flooding surface is still in a qualitative method, that is only based in geological or geophysical aspect. The formation of rock layers is time based events, where the lower layer is formed first. Next, it’s tangible that the formation of a layer of rock can be influenced by the previous ones. One of the quantitative methods that can be developed in the process of rock layers formation is stochastic process of time series from Box and Jenkins. Gamma Ray log is taken from Parbaungan 1 well. Parbaungan 1 well is a field exploratory well, own by Chevron Pacific Indonesia company in Sumatra. Based on the analysis AutoRegressive order 2 is the right model. Observation and estimation data graphic iterate high resolution trendline is best observed at every 30 feet and at every 150 feet for low resolution. Next step, based of the both trendline made quantitative interpretation, marker sequence stratigraphy. <br />
