The title of this thesis is In Patient Health Insurance Risk Premium Analysis: Medicare Health Insurance Bumiputera 1912 Mutual Life Insurance Case Study, and we want to determine the risk premium based on the distribution of aggregate loss of cost of care and the distribution of aggregate length of stay. Compound models are used to model the aggregate loss cost of care and the aggregate length of stay. Recursive method is used to calculate the probability mass function of the aggregate loss cost of care and of the aggregate length of stay. The mean and standard deviation of the aggregate loss cost of care and of the aggregate length of stay are used to determine the risk premium. Claims data of the Medicare Health Insurance for underwritting year 2009 and 2010 from Bumiputera 1912 Mutual Life Insurance company, is used as a case study. The data is grouped by age and sex
