Thus, software which is compatible to CityGML concept is needed. Graphics and Artificial Intelligence (GAIB) Research Group invented 3D visualization software which is called GAIB 3D. However, it was not tested to use and apply CityGML Concept. A House Model and Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB) Area were modeled using Google Sketchup and was converted and visualized into Land Xplorer CityGML Viewer, a software which is made to read CityGML-format file, and GAIB 3D, 3D Visualization software which is not tested with the CityGML Concept. Few aspect that is used to compare is the geometric aspect, which consists of position, shape, scale, and orientation of the object, and the data and attribute aspect, which consists of texture, LOD, attribute, and file format. This research produced a conclusion which stated that GAIB 3D is not ready to apply the CityGML concept. Further research is needed to raise the ability of GAIB 3D in adjusting to reality based modeling. At the end of the research, a scheme for the usage of GAIB 3D and its role in 3D spatial information was made. text
