A flow of fluid passing a sluice gate with certain altitude. This Final Project observing the fluid flow and modeling an integral equation on a free-surface flow . The fluid flow that being observed is irrotational and steady and also assumed to be ideal. Another assumption that the fluid is in area...

This Final Project observing the fluid flow and modeling an integral equation on a free-surface flow . The fluid flow that being observed is irrotational and steady and also assumed to be ideal. Another assumption that the fluid is in area without barrier. The problem will be reviewed in the case of 2 dimensions. From an integral equation that obtained, we can classify it as a Fredholm integral equation of the second kind. And then after that, will be discussed several methods to solve Fredholm integral equation of the second kind with some properties of different kernels. text
