Declining production at Sangatta field caused by the lack of exploration activity for the last ten years and has not developed the potential zone at Sangatta area. In 2011 Formasi Pulubalang has drilled three wells that come through the Formasi Pulubalang zone, and finally found hydrocarbon oil and gas. Pulubalang Formation deposited in a marine environment on the transition area to the slope sediments and the possibility of turbidite deposition. PulubalangFormasi sedimentation patterns strongly influenced by the condition of the basin at any time and is controlled by the presence of two local heights on the west and east. At Pulubalang intervals detected of three systems tracks that is lowstand systems track (LST) at intervals SB1-SB2, and SB2-MFS, and highstand system tracks at intervals (HST)of MFS-SB3. The combination of isochron maps of each system tracks and seismik attribute G-amplitudo shows the distribution pattern of Pulubalang Formasi sedimentation. G-amplitudo high value indicates sandstone, while the lower G-amplitudo shows claystone. At intervals SB1-SB2, the sedimentation form beach deposits, sediment slope and deep-sea sediments further to the east. At intervals SB2-MFS2, sediment deposition in the form of beaches, tidal bars until sediment slopes. At intervals MFS2-SB3 deposited on the condition of the upper delta plain to shoreface. Potential stratigraphic traps identified from the migration map on each carrier bed that shows the direction of migration from the west towards the east as a deep as the altitude changes from sandstone to mudstone facies, is evident from the results of several test wells SLR-1, SD-1, and TPH-1 produce oil and gas. The resources that can be obtained from this interval is equal to 46.47 Formasi Pulubalang MMSTB (OOIP) text
