Summary:Underground Construction Department is a department under Underground Mine Division whose main task to provide infrastructures to support underground mine <br /> <br /> <br /> operation and production activities. Data from the last two years period (2007-2008) has shown that the project <br /> <br /> <br /> achievement were very low, that are 59% fail on drawpoint project achievement, 50% fail on grizzly project achievement, 27% fail on vent raise project achivement, and 68% fail on LP project achievement. One of the reason of those failure is because there is no <br /> <br /> <br /> adequate system to perform project control activities that be able to monitor and to measure the performance of both project and crews, and also be able to give early warning the presence of problem that will be occured. To solve the problem, Earned Value and Perfomance Dashboard concept will be used. Earned value concept is a concept that combine time and cost aspect, and the actual achievement of the project. By combining those three dimensions, a project manager <br /> <br /> <br /> will be able to know the overall project performance. This concept also be able to provide early information of estimated project completion, whether the project will be on target or miss from the target. The Perfomance Dashboard is adopting a priciple of <br /> <br /> <br /> a vehicle’s dashboard, that can deliver information of project performance in the sort time, which can help decession maker to take action promtly and accurately in line with the problem Knowing the project performance by intagrating the two performance measuring concepts, is expected can reduce the target achievement failure of UG ConstructionDepartment and the monthly achievement can be more consistent. <br />
