Summary:Rubber is a natural resource comodities that being produced massively in Indonesia. There are various application of rubber in Indonesia such as in the automobile industry. According to this reason, many research of rubber <br /> <br /> <br /> characteristic has been made. <br /> <br /> <br /> This research’s goal is to find the best and fittest model to NBR, NR, and NR+ materials in three different strain rates, 1,98 mm/minute, 19,8 mm/minute, and 198 mm/minute and also NR from Jörgen Bergström’s literature. <br /> <br /> <br /> With reference to polinomial regression curve from experimental data, coefficients from the equation model (Biderman and Neo-Hookean) can be determined. These coefficients are used to make model’s curve and then <br /> <br /> <br /> compared to the experimental curve so it provides error in each model. Then error parameter goodness of fit comparison has been done so we can determine the best model that fit to modeling all of those three rubber materials and have an accepted error range. <br /> <br /> <br /> Biderman is the most fitted model to represent the stress-strain characteristic curve for the tested material NBR, NR, and NR+ in the first case study. The second case study is also resulting Biderman as a best model to fit the <br /> <br /> <br /> experimental curve.
