The research cover the stream characteristic through the rotor which yields high performance turbomachinery. Thus, in general, the efficiency of industrial process and energy could be increased. <br /> <br /> <br /> The drop enthalpy on expansion process of high compressed liquid will take place on liquid flow through rotor. High mechanical energy is expected from the expasion process when the rotor covert the energy from fluid flow to shaft rotation. <br /> <br /> <br /> Rotor with high cavity cascade is being used to produce effectively high pressure drop. The expansion process will cause steam fraction accurence in chamber between cascades. It will occur when the local pressure reach the saturated pressure at particular ambient temperature. <br /> <br /> <br /> In this research, three types of high cavity cascades are being used. <br /> <br /> <br /> The experiment result will give the description of performance and characteristic of each rotor. The data will be used as fundamental base for further eksperiment which apply two phase flow as working liquid. text
