In this thesis the author tries to make a pico hydro turbine made from composite materials. Turbine is intended to be easy to manufacture, lightweight, because it is needed for installation in remote areas with difficult access, as well as strong and stand on its loading conditions. In this thesis, besides making pico hydro turbine manufacturing methods, the authors also performed an analysis of the strength of composite materials during operation, it is when the turbine is placed in a water flow. Raw materials used are easily available on the market, e.g woven E-glass as a filler and polyester resin as matrix. text
