Summary: | Granular material in certain condition which vibrated vertically will show of the Brazil-nut effect. It is mean that the larger grain would split up and the smaller grains will collect in the base. Single ball, double ball coincide, and double ball which is connected by a stick are used as intruders in this experiment.
forms of intruder. A single ball and double ball coincide indicates the trend of rising time more similar to each other compared with double ball away. At a constant frequency of 19 Hz was found that the greater input voltage the faster rising time. Based on numerical methods we know that the value of granular viscosity depends on frequency, input voltage, and geometry intruder.
