Wind energy can be extracted by using wind turbines as will be discussed in the final project this time. <br /> <br /> <br /> Research includes designing, manufacturing, and testing the wind energy conversion systems (WECS). Type of wind turbine which is chosen is horizontal axis wind turbines that has three blades and a diameter of 2.2 meters with a rectangular blade geometry. Modifications will be done is to provide a twist on the blade in order to obtain optimal results in extracting wind energy. <br /> <br /> <br /> Data obtained from the test results will show the power characteristics of wind turbines to various wind speeds text
