Fact shows that material conveying plays an important role in development of industry. Pneumatic conveyor is one kind of conveyors equipment used in material conveying process. Pneumatic conveying systems are basically quite simple and are eminently suitable for the transport of powdered and granular material in industry. The advantage of this pneumatic conveyor is the transportation process occurs in closed line, so the material that is being conveyed can be protected from the environment condition or an the other side, the material does not contaminate the environment. <br /> <br /> <br /> Pneumatic conveyor manual calculation can be done by using formulas and empirical data in graphic form. By using computer program, the formulas can be changed to computer codes and empirical data can be stored in memory, so that <br /> <br /> <br /> the calculation can be done in a more sistematic manner. The calculation that is iterative can be done faster. <br /> <br /> <br /> The final project discusses the design of computer program for a tool in designing of pneumatic conveyor. This computer program also facilitates the user with data base which can be used as consideration in making the decision.
