Summary: | Vibration monitoring based predictive maintenance method is one of maintenance methods which is continuously developed. In this case, information about the cause of failure and when it happens are very important to keep production process running. Continuous information about machine’s condition enables to evaluate trending of the machine’s condition more accurately. One of vibration analysis methods that used is Operating Deflection Shape (ODS) analysis. This analysis is based on measuring magnitude and phase from some measuring point at machine. The next data processing is to know movement of points. After that, the movement is show in the animation form to know deflection of rotate machine. <br />

This final project studies about ODS analysis of double rotor rotating system. To the double rotors some unbalance conditions are given in order to make specific deflection occurred on the test set up. Data processing and ODS visualization are generated by using Mechanical Engineering Scope Visual Engineering Series 4.0 (ME’scopeVES 4.0) software. |
