By using advanced production system, industries can calculate the cost of goods in real-time.One of production unit that need cost calculation system is melting process in the foundry area because of the high demand of casting in the industrial world. <br /> <br /> <br /> Mechanical-Production Engineering Laboratory ITB has developed a concept named “Autonomous Distributed Manufacturing System (ADiMS)”, an Automatic Distributed Production System. The main character from ADiMS is autonomy granting, task distribution, and coordination of decision making. The concept of SPTM is an example of the advanced production system. In this web based software, the concept of SPTM will be applied in business units of forging production. <br /> <br /> <br /> In this final project research, developed software which has the ability to calculate the cost of melting processes production business unit based on AdiMS The software calculates the costs based on SPTM and is flexible to changes of cost variables.
