Heat <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> treatment was performed using air and water cooling to reveal the phase transformation occurred in the Cu-Al-Ni alloy. It was observed that austenite, β transformed into martensite β’, martensite γ’, or mixture of β’ and γ’ depending on the chemistry of β and the cooling media. Laboratory equipment of xray diffraction, scanning electron microscopy and energy dispersive spectroscopy were employed in this research. text |
