In this final project, the calculation of the absorbed dose rate is done using Task Group 43 U1 for High dose rate (HDR) and Medium dose rate (MDR) therapies simulation. To simplify the calculation a simple program is made to calculate the absorbed dose rate at a certain point. The result obtained is then compared to the absorbed dose rate data from Treatment Planning System (TPS). The dose rate in TPS uses the PLATO software for HDR and Isis C for MDR. The comparation of absorbed dose rate gives less than 1% error percentage for the dose rate calculation in HDR and MDR therapy. text
