The purpose of this design is to overcome the problem of decreasing mass flow rate of LPG for the continuous usage of gas stove over 1 hour and to fix the previous design which applies with the bottom heat mode position. <br /> <br /> <br /> This flame stabilizer is produced regarding to heat pipe principle with the type of loop heat pipe with water as the working fluid. The pipe used is copper tube with diameter of 3/8” for condensor part and 1/2” for evaporator part. The total length of heat pipe required is 540 cm. This dimension is obtained experimentally and strengthened with the outcome of analysis in which LPG has the equilibrium temperature of 23.2 oC and the corresponding pressure of 3.4 bar in operation. This heat pipe is applied on the tank that parallels to the height position of gas stove. Moreover, the usage of gas stove with heat pipe application can give extra LPG efficiency of 2% compared to the one without heat pipe application. <br /> <br /> <br /> For the tank position 10 cm lower than gas stove, the hysterisis phenomenon occurs at the heat pipe temperature between 80 oC and 90 oC while the temperature of tank&#8223;s wall is not stable yet ranging between 22 oC and 25.7 oC after 50 minutes operation. <br /> <br /> <br /> From the research, it can be concluded that a good flame stabilizer is used for the height position of tank which parallels to it of gas stove. text
