By using the data from productivity measurement, the company can formulate a series of proper policies to reach optimal growth by maximizing the company's production factors. <br /> <br /> <br /> In this final project research, productivity growth in UD.Bimara, which is a waste recycle company, is measured. The productivity growth in UD.Bimara measured by total factor productivity (TFP) method. <br /> <br /> <br /> This method measured the productivity growth by using labor and capital factor as inputs and added value as output. Income statement and labor database in 2002-2009 periods are used for this research. Based on the analysis, the calculated data of TFP result that the improvement of labor number can't be maximized to improve company productivity growth. Next step is using the data of TFP result to make a linier regression equation model. In this process, special factor that influence productivity growth of company is decided. The series of statistic test is used to verify the feasibility of these factors to become variables of linier regression equation. From the series of statistic tests, it can be decided that special factor that can be used for linier regression variables are unskilled workers, skilled workers, and account receivables for suppliers. The data of linier regression equation can be used to analyze the contribution of these special factors in company productivity growth. <br /> <br /> <br /> The analysis of linier regression equation showed that the growth of unskilled workers and account receivables for suppliers can’t be maximized to improve company productivity growth. The proposed solution for this problem is to increase the number of human resource officer to be placed in every factory and make an account receivable department in the company. text |
