| Summary: | PT. Agincourt Resources (PT.AR), occupies and carries out business activities and operations at the Martabe Gold Mine, South Tapanuli, and North Sumatra. To support its activities, PT.AR has been planning to purchase 30 units Ford Ranger 4-by four-wheel drive from PT. Ford Motor Indonesia (PT.FMI). One of the requirement proposed by PT.AR related with this procurement, PT.FMI through its Authorize Dealer has to open the Auto Repair and Service workshop located in Batangtoru Sub-District whereas the mining operation area. PT. Ford Motor Indonesia as an ATPM of Ford in Indonesia had the concept widened the network of the service through Partnership system. Partnership system is auto repair and service workshop, which is not operated by Ford Dealer personally but with the involvement of local entrepreneur as the owner or investor. The services are routine maintenance, wheel alignments, tires and rims, brake repair, comprehensive engine repair, and transmission. The involvement of local entrepreneur to operate this business is a part of local business development PT.AR. It is expected that within a period, this learning while working process will enable small businesses incorporated under the Local Business Development program to grow, develop and become role model for the similar workshop in Batangtoru. Their sustainable growth will greatly accelerate economic growth and provide work within the local community <br />

Business potential for Authorized Workshop Ford Vehicle growth from year to year, this can be seen from the growing number of Ford vehicle in North Sumatera for the last three years. In addition, up to now there is no Authorized Workshop in southern area of North Sumatera whereas there are many corporate user of Ford. <br />

Based on the results of the integrated analysis from various aspects such as: concept of Partnership; growth of vehicles, Industry Analysis, Financial Analysis by calculating sales trend and three possible scenarios such as Pessimistic, Most Likely, and Optimistic, Auto Repair and Service Workshop is viable to implement and will become role model for similar service in Batangtoru Sub-District. <br />
