Faced with these conditions, the company must be able to survive and win the competition by leveraging and performing sound business strategy which cover all aspects that are future-oriented .The company needs distinctive capabilities and business strategies for boosting their performance and ensuring their sustainability. This problem can be solved by performing a distinctive and sustainable business strategy which fully compatible and relevant to enhance their performance which stagnant due to economies of scale as well as productivity and delivery capabilities problems. At the same time, to ensure business sustainability and long term growth performance, the company can develop robust strategy for fostering implementation of revenue management using portfolio planning, life of mine management, creative business model development as well as reputation management development for sustainable development.To boost their performance, medium sized coal mining company should concern to develop, enhance existing resources and capabilities for achieving exceptional revenue stream improvement and margin by strengthening critical success factors and minimizing operation disadvantages. Critical success factors in doing coal business amongst medium sized particularly financing capacity, operating excellence and creative business structure should be strategic consideration for winning competition.To create successful long term growth and sustainability, a medium sized coal mining company should develop long lasting and sustainable competitive advantages by leveraging, capitalizing and securitizing firm’s strategic position, distinctive resources and capabilities as well as business strategy. They need focus on development robust strategy and creative business initiative and implementation plan for sustainability. The research done has resulted in the design of sustainable business strategy and the variety of strategic initiatives and action plans that can be applied by PT Sentra Inovasitama for boosting their performance and creating business sustainability. The strategic initiatives can be divided into strategic areas such as Reputation Management and Public Image Development, Business Value Creation Development, Resources and Capabilities Development and Network Development and Securitization. This strategy, in operating perspective is hoped to be able to increase the productivity of the company, increase and enhance strategic position and competitive advantage then finally would improve strategically of company capacity to create the long lasting performance and business sustainability. The implementation of the sustainable business strategy is begun by the role and responsibility of the top management equipped by the high level of commitment and confidence, and the participation of all staffs and employees. Management intention and preference to allocate sound resources required will also be valuable assets in fostering sustainability. As part of strategic transformation form, management can also build the winning team to ensure of winning the game for sustainability achievement. The feedback from strategy implementation makes the company becomes dynamic and energetic in pursuing sustainable long term growth. <br /> text
