Modeling was made to study the subsurface structure by utilizing the properties of the medium conductivity. In this modeling, a observed response in the form of an apparent resistivity curve and phase impedance curve along the surface. Calculation auxiliary field for the earth with topography was done by normal derivative of magnetic field. The model used in this study involve a homogeneous earth model, a layered earth model, a earth model with vertical contact, and a earth model with anomalous conductive overlays. Flat, slope and hill topography were used in each earth models. From the result of modeling has been created it can be concluded that the variation of apparent resistivity curve, impedance phase curve and distribution of magnetic field in spatial and temporal (frequency) shows the effect of earth models and topography used. text |
