This final project is focused on the design process of centrifugal pumps’s impeller. This design process is using the data from the previous experiment done by Widi Eka Putra in his final project. The design method which is used is based on the design method written in tho book titled Impeller Pumps authored by Lazardkiewick. The designed impeller’s geometry will be compared with the actual geometry of Ebara’s pump 50 x 40 FSHA model in Fluid <br /> <br /> <br /> Machinery Laboratory. <br /> <br /> <br /> The result of comparation will be analyzed to determine whether the design method is quite optimal in pump’s designing or not. As the conclusion the designed impeller’s geometry is gives the difference with the actual geometry. The assumptions that has been taken in the design process is one of the factors that deliver different result with the actual impeller pump’s geometry. text |
